Our Research Volunteers are dedicated genealogists and cemetery historians who share their time and skills to help preserve history. Browse the list below to find someone in your area or with expertise in your research interests.

Becky Fox

Georgia

Expierence - 

Member of both DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and UDC (United Daughters of the Confederacy). Experienced in family history research, lineage verification, and historical documentation.

Research interests - 

Flexible — open to all time periods and topics, with a focus on Georgia and nearby states. Passionate about ensuring no story is forgotten.

Platforms used - 

Ancestry, FamilySearch, and Fold3. 

Delsey Leather Kempf

New York

Expierence - 

Dedicated researcher and member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Extensive knowledge of New York family history and archival resources. Has documented cemeteries, including Ferguson Cemetery in Princetown, NY.

Research interests - 

Revolutionary War patriot lineages, upstate New York history, and cemetery documentation.

Platforms used - 

Ancestry, FamilySearch, Fold3, Newspapers.com, and Old Fulton Postcards. 

Tammy Chadwick

New York

Expierence - 

Over 35 years of family research with a strong focus on DNA genealogy. Skilled at using DNA test results to connect families and break down brick walls. Has done online research in old New England records, English records, Denmark, Australia, and many others.

Research interests - 

DNA-based genealogy, Colonial and early American families.

Platforms used - 

Ancestry, Family Search, Fold3, Newspapers.com, and any other platforms needed for the project at hand. 

Kelly Mayo

Florida

Expierence - 

Many years of genealogy and family history. Has successfully traced family lines back to the 1500s. Comfortable navigating both U.S. and European records. 

Research interests - 

Broad historical coverage, flexible to assist with most time periods and research needs.

Ancestry, Fold3, Newspapers, FamilySearch

Kaye Ford, AG®

Indiana

Expierence - 

Accredited Genealogist® specializing in U.S. records. Skilled in both in-person courthouse and archive research as well as online resources. Has worked extensively on Great Lakes region families and midwestern migrations.

Research interests - 

Families and communities between 1750 and 1950, especially the Great Lakes migration and settlement history. Open to researching for a varity of different topics. 

Platforms used - 

NewspaperArchive, Genealogy Bank, MyHeritage, FindMyPast, many IN and OH state websites, RootsMagic and all of the popular platforms.
